INTIMATE ACTS

My intention for this project is to highlight  ̈ women ́s work ̈ as an important contribution to art history. I am fascinated with the intimate acts performed by women since the beginning of time; collecting, collaging, sewing, gathering, recycling, patterning, quilting,  and writing poetry as an act of pride and survival. These acts come from a heritage of the feminine.
